COVID-19 update

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 impacts throughout New South Wales we have unfortunately decided to postpone the Cycle for Life scheduled for Sunday 1 August 2021. We are working with both local and state governments and stakeholders to confirm a new date before Christmas and will update the website once the date has been confirmed.

We were looking forward to seeing you on the start line in beautiful Tweed Valley to ride to raise awareness for organ donation but the health and safety of our community must come first. Stay well and we look forward to seeing  you at the rescheduled event.

What the day is all about

The Cycle for Life is a fun social cycle aimed at raising awareness within the community about organ donation.

There are four fully supported options to cycle (or walk) through the beautiful Northern NSW countryside.  Depending on your cycling level or fitness and choose from:

  • A 100 km road cycle
  • A 50 km road cycle
  • A 5 km family cycle/walk along the beach path from Salt Central Park to Cotton beach and return.
We are unable to support the 30 km route this year.
Instead we will be providing a 39 km route which will follow the 50 Km, then take a slightly shorter route back to Salt Central Park.
This turn will be identified with signage and controlled by traffic controllers.

Who can join?

Anyone can join in the day’s fun with options for all ages and abilities.

If you can’t participate in the any of the above activities, you’re most welcome to join us for the BBQ, stalls and talks with organ donation recipients afterwards.
